IoG:RtE chapter 4: "Gaia's signs"

The others were still frightened, but they knew Will was alright now.
He did'nt seem like he was about to explode anymore. Lilly sat on the
window sill and relaxed. Lance sat down on the chair near Will's bed
and Erik stayed upstrait.

Will spoke first before they could even ask him what happened.
"guys..." he said, kind of weakly. "I did'nt want to firghten you,
I did'nt cause this... I was discussing with you when I saw Dark Gaia.
It hapenned so suddenly, I did'nt know what to do."
Lance interupted him. "DO what ??? What would've you had to do if you 
saw her ?"
"At first I thought she was attacking"Will responded. "The last time I
fought her I was under shadow's appearance. I would have been killed 
easily without his strenght and the firebird's."
"oh..."Lance replied, merely satisfied by the answer. He hesitated,
then asked."did you see anything else ?"
Will frowned
"I saw her and the consequences of her force against Earth. I know that
she maintains a balance with the good Gaia, but Dark Gaia is always
trying to disrupt this and create Chaos. It's in her nature, just like
Gaia is purely good in her own nature"

Lilly seemed totally lost.
"Will... you speak of things we did'nt see or even hear about until you
told us after our awakening. You'll have to bear with us if we don't
understand all you say" "This Dark Gaia, is it an enemy, or a godlike
being, or anything ?" She saw that Will was feeling a little tired.
"Heh...Maybe well talk about this when you get your spirits back, ok ?"

Will smiled faintly. "Yeah...I'm still under shock"
But he was till a bit more talkative, he was feeling a bit better once
he had started talking about it.

"I was'nt sure of what was happening when I saw Gaia for the first time,
800 years ago. It took me some time to understand her nature and
personnality. I did'nt get it until we got to Angkor Wat. I then understood
her role in our existance... At that time I was clueless, but a spirit
showed me the world we live in today, and I was perplexed. It explained
all to me and only THEN was I able to see what was going to happen to that
future is if Dark Gaia's Comet evolved the world in a bad way. I'm only
glad this business is over, that way we can concentrate on finding kara."

He said all that very fast. The others could see he was out of breath.

Erik spoke for the first time in ages. "I think you should get some rest"
"as a matter of fact, WE should all get some rest. I'm going back home,
to clear a bit of paperwork conceerning that caravan."
Lance and Lilly both stood up, and took their coats. "We'll be in the room
next to you if you ever need anything" Lilly said, before closing the door
behind her. "take it easy, in the meantime"

Will felt a bit easier. Talking had relieved him of the extreme stress he
had felt that day. He was indeed glad that it was over. It must've had only
been in relation with all these remembrances of the other world lately.
Thinking of this, he drifted off to sleep

Kara was still thinking of him. The guy she had seen in her dream had been
in pain. Her most profound desired had been to find him and help him in any
way she could. The only problem was, she did'nt even know him, nor heard of
his whereabouts...
She felt extremely sad. As if there was a missing part of her. She had never
felt so strongly for someone, especially a man...

She looked at the ring on her left hand. She had that ring since forever and
she liked to look into it for comfort whenever her stepmother lashed out at
her or his father did something shocking. She stroked the diamond on it. It
was a perfectly round, light blue orb. It reflected with unknown lands and
peoples. She could see some things under it's surface. Like these knights in
suits of armor she saw so often. She saw something very unusual this time.
That guy Will, was in the ring. He was looking for something. She saw that
he was wearing a ring too, similar to hers, but dark blue.

She was mesmerized... They both had the same ring... that dream... It was too
much to bear...

At that same time, Will was sleeping, and started dreaming.
