my guess is that it would have to be implemented from a starting date. just another variable equal to your gems, that doesnt go down when you give people stuff.
edit: i meant from sometime in the future. i dont know if there is a history of gems on TE, but it seems like it would be a lot of work to go through and check every transaction |

| Hey, this is way on the back burner, but what might be cool is a lifetime earnings indicator. Like how many gems you have earned total, minus those given away (NOT those that have been removed by admins). |
