So how was your Valentine's day?

Me, I spent time online with my GF. :3

Aah valentine. My current opinion of valentine is that it's an evil commercial day only designed to make people spend money on little items that cease to be useful the day they are purchased.

But that opinion is only formed due to the fact that I was spending yet another valentine's alone. Hurray.

Haven't had it yet.

I was supposed to see her yesterday, but there was a massive snowstorm overnight, which left the roads in really bad shape. She really didn't want to be on the roads, so she skipped school that day; and frankly, I didn't want her driving in that mess either.

So, we've rescheduled "our" Vally's day for tomorrow.

Personally eFlare, I agree... it's "Hallmark Day" wrapped in Cupids, with pink and red assaulting my eyes everywhere I go. I would just as soon forget it; don't need one particular day to let someone know you care.

But she likes it, so I guess I can take it for one day. Fortunately, she's not high maintenance, so I'm not shelling out for anything expensive.

I got myself a sushi lunch with the boyfriend. He also preordered the limited special edition of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children for me. <3 But the rest of my day was spent at school. D:

Honestly I don't know where people get that idea. XD My GF said that all she wanted for valentines is me and me likewise for her. Valentines can always be used for other things instead of spending money on chocolates. XD It can be for:

- Reaffirming your love to your lover
- Resolving problems in relationship
- Making romantic resolutions for yourself, like if you wonder why you're single and alone you can always do introspective.
- Getting together with your single friends and hang out. Remember, valentine's day is also singles' awareness day.
