Eh? Fuck the community, the engine does look pretty fun though which is why I suggested that we use the MUGEN engine...at least until a better fighter engine pops up. It's just for fun, me and my GF still enjoys playing it even though we both agree that the community is filled with stupid asswipes. Very Happy

Besides, I pledge to make the skillnote universal, so that it can used in any fighting game engine. It's just for fun, I'd really love to see Ark enter the arena of fighters too.

You would need a standard for skillnotes(even thought I don't really know what that is) so all fighting games follow it. To make it universal, I mean.

Shouldn't be too hard since the FIghting Game Genre is very unviersal to begin with ... I mean look at them all you do is Hit and Kick, Jump and use Techs with Button Combos ... And that's it allready. So just the skills a description and a few formulas with a example hp-sheme as well as an balanced classification sheet and some suggestions for the keysetting of the combos needed should do.

I'm plotting the moves of Ark, I'm playing through Terranigma and figuring out all of Ark's moves since I NEVER used the Jewel box in my playthroughs. XD

Also, Ark lacks an anti-air move

That's true, but there's always the excuse to invent new moves. Very Happy

Exactly, Ark may be fun to play as in Terranigma, but in Mugen he wouldn't be as interesting if played as is. (For one, what about the hyper moves? XD )

just add a few more spirals and punchy moves and you'll be fine ... he can emit energy from his staff so maybe you can do it just by adding some more energyemitting stuff. But no long-ranged stuff like all those Energy Ball shooting things like in Street Fighter ... that surely isn't Arks way ^^.
