I believe the name Elle, an acronym of Elly, is an eastern European name. I think it's Swedish, Dutch, or German. I'm not honestly sure . (Yay for guessing out of my ass on loose ideas. ) the name is a contraction of Ellyham. As for what it means, I haven't a clue. _________________ "That which invokes my rage and great, furious anger shall turn to a raging nuclear sea of fire!" |

Sweden, Holland and Germany are not Eastern Europe. The name Elle is short for Ellen, which in turn is another form of Helen or Eleanor, both of which are English/Dutch (nice guess!). |

Gah, meant that sort of region. Now that I think about it, Eastern European is more of a Slavic region. XD
But I was figuring something along the lines, which if you think about it comparatively with the light Elle, it makes absolute sense. As for the meaning of the name, I can't remember. (And thanks to the glorious internet, I can't find what the hell it means because of garbage websites smothering the meaning in cyberspace.) _________________ "That which invokes my rage and great, furious anger shall turn to a raging nuclear sea of fire!" |
