I just got a new PC, but someday, I'd like to switch to MAC. They're certainly alot more stable and easier to use.
Word of advice to PC users: AVOID VISTA AT ALL COSTS! _________________

I've heard about Vista having problems too. Apparently, it's not much more useful than XP, and my friend had problems running some older software too. _________________ There is no such thing as a gay line.

Basically, when you're loading Vista goes like this:
"Hi! I'm Vista!"
"Well, hi there! Aren't you spiffy?"
"It's good to meet you, so shall we get started?"
"Yeah, I thought I'd start by installing this game. It's one of my favorties."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not compatible with that."
"Oh... well, that's okay. It's kind of old, anyway. Well how about this new software I bought for burning CDs. I used it on XP and it was..."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not compatible with that either."
"Well then what about this program?"
"Do you have administrative rights?"
"I should... wait... am I not logged in as an Admin?"
"No, you are, you just have to confirm that you are an Admin."
"Uhhhh... okay..."
"I'm sorry, but this program won't install correctly, did you give it Administrative rights?"
"Where do I do that?"
"Well, you have to go into your Hard Drive, find the specific Installation program, right click it, go to Properties, and check the box that says 'Give Administrative Rights'."
"Can I just set everything to have those rights when I'm logged on as an Admin?"
"No."
"Please?"
"Listen, I'm Vista, I make the money, I make the rules. I'm not like Windows 98, I'm not your friend, but you're welcome to be my bitch. Now sit back and enjoy my packaged features, cause that's all you're gonna f***ing get!"
(*curls into a fetal postition and cries*)
It's something like that, Vista is. _________________

We're a PC family, thought I had/have? an ancient Mac somewhere...only game that worked was Civilisation 2.
My father also has a PC, the PC is in 24/7 usage since 1/2 year, and he never saw a bluescreen or sth. The only time he restarts the PC is when he gets some new programs. |

Guys, I am running Vista and has been problem free for a long damn time. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Macs on the other hand....come with a lot of problems of their own which is too numerous to state here. Never again. _________________

That could only be true if your Mac is 5-6 years old (or older), hasn't been reformatted ever, and has a mere 128MB of RAM with less than 1GB of hard drive space. _________________ There is no such thing as a gay line.
