          | I was wondering if there is any connection between the three games in terms of story, abilities, themes or whatnot. I have only played Illusion of Gaia and that was many moon cycles ago. |

IoG is supposed to be in the same world as Terranigma. Like so, you can see that Capetown exists(tought u can't enter the area), which is what South Cape became after finishing the game.

Mu exists in Terranigma. You can enter this one, and do stuff, but I won't tell what coz it's a spoiler.

It might be my imagination XD but I think I read once that in one of the towers(I think it's second), if u pressed A looking towards one of the many columns in the tower, while not having weapons or armor equipped, Will makes an apareance, he runs from the top floor, falls, and continues running until he is out of the screen. Like I sayd it could be just a rumour or my imagination. |

There are a few connections. Each game has a dog named Turbo, like Muerte said (in SB, he was in Greenwood, in IoG he was at the Diamond Coast, in TN he was Meilin's dog).

SB and IoG have Solid Arm as a kind of link together.

SB and TN both deal with world regeneration.

IoG and TN both deal with dark and light Gaia.

TN has Capetown in S.Africa, IoG begins in South Cape (which I believe is also in Africa in the game).

But other than the similar themes, they aren't really "sequels" to each other. They're just placed in the same series. _________________

The also use the same font for the most part... And there are some re-used sprites between SB / IoG (such as the Moon Tribe, which were enemies in SB). And, like said already, they all have reincarnation themese in one way or another. Oh, and SB and IoG both feature the Firebird/Phoenix as the ultimate weapon for the final battle. _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |

All three games were made by Quintet. Also ActRaiser has some connections, though it's other kind of game (it's a strategy and action game). You are sent by gods to annihilate the demons and restore peace in each town and then you have to rebuild it.

Though at the beginning, it doesn't seem so, the three games have quite a dark atmosphere, and some dialogues you find through the game can be quite deep. Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia also share a painter in their story. |

          | I dunno if this were mentioned here, but IoG reuses graphics from SB (such as turbo, Dark world BG and solid arm/metal mantis) |

I know someone mentioned it earlier... but SB and IoG both have dog's in the game named Turbo... Turbo plays a large role in SB, in the second stage. I believe you meet Turbo in IoG after getting off the raft part of the game with Will and Kara. I never played TN, but if there's a dog in their named Turbo, then that's one universal connection across all three games. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. -Queen Magridd = Bloody Mary

-Magridd Castle = Sylvain Castle...(Two tower,the torturer room,the sewer...)

-Dr Leo is maybe Beruga...?

In the end of soulblazer,Dr Leo say :

"I am not passing away, rather, I am going to sleep.

When a scientist with my knowledge is needed, I will be back."

Beruga was alive in the ancien world(the world before the world revived by Ark!).
