Couple of Poems

I wrote some new poetry stuff a little while ago, sort of a 2-part series of poems.

Lock & Key

Creating completely new levels of consciousness

The tick of the mind, external, morose
As though an axiom to your foundation of worms
Warp it int othe organic though of colossi
Though no remnant of its mortal soul will remain

How can there be anything?
One point in time spawned by the Divine
If there is an edge, what matter lies beyond
Except for the forever, from which all light shone

We've been waiting here for eternity

The more you think about it, the deeper it bleeds
Man so temporary, fading like our seeds
And the world came tumbling by
One life unto the many cold stones in the sky

Don't let the mind wander
External touch, create the track for our journey
Imperfect machines of pure parts



Mother of Tides

I want to open my milk with a cleaver
And let the rain shine down on me
Head over heels

I've been counting each day that I've won
Those that have been lost are yet to come
Though the clock stands clean and dry

I'm ignoring the voices from within my head
The ones in my feet are greater still
Their hands grip my fate but never my will

One foot in the grave with my head in the clouds
An that uplifting feeling, it tears me apart
Should I snap my neck, I will leave with a sound

Nature needing nurture, to seek is to find
All our thoughts eternal at least within this mind
Ad we will only know if we are right

Sun soon fading, all stress resides
Hearts lie in motion, the Mother of the tides
Hush, cool waves for all the days

thats pretty awesome stuff. i dont quite get the second poem, but i do understand the first fairly well.

also thats a very interesting structure, cant say ive seen that used before.
