TerraEarth Casino: Texas Hold'Em Tables

This new attraction to the growing TerraEarth Casino is the first event to feature actual bidding! Here's how it works:

Rules-Game

1. Texas Hold'Em is a poker variant.
2. Each player is dealt two cards.
3. Since the players are in direct competition, the cards will be PM'ed to the players.
4. The dealer will then deal three cards face up on the table (this is known as the "Flop").
5. A round of bidding ensues.
6. When all bids are in, the dealer turns over another card (this is known as the "Turn")
7. A second round of bidding ensues.
8. When all bids are in, the dealer turns over a final card (this is known as the "River")
9. A final round of bidding ensues.
10. When all bids are even and the current player has Called, the dealer reveals what all players had, and who wins.
11. All players have access to the five cards on the table, and their two. These cards are combined to make the highest possible winning hand.

Rules- Bidding
1. Fold- You surrender currently bid gems, but are no longer obligated to bid.
2. Raise- You raise the current rate of bid (bidding starts at 10 Gems).
3. Call- You see the bid, but go no higher. (When all bids are called and even, the round of bidding ends).


Rules-Gem Balance

1. Texas Hold'Em uses gems for bidding.
2. To Deal In, Players must PM Jason Tandro a certain amount of Gems.
3. These gems will be kept by Jason until the player Deals Out.
4. The players gem balance will be listed below their name. They can bid, based on how many gems they have paid the dealer.
5. Wins and losses will be recorded on the players gem balance.
6. Player can Deal Out at any time and he/she will recieve a PM with the total amount of their current balance.
7. If Player Deals Out in the middle of a round, they will forfeit any gems currently bet.
8. MAX DEAL IN: 500 Gems
9. MIN DEAL IN: 100 Gems

Rules- Winning Hands
1. Pair- The lowest possible winning hand is when between the cards you have and the ones on the table you have two cards with matching numbers.
2. Two Pair- Two pairs.
3. Three-of-a-Kind- Three cards of one number.
4. Straight- A numeric series of cards (i.e. 9,8,7,6,5)
5. Flush- Five cards with the same suit.
6. Full House- One three-of-a-kind and one pair.
7. Four-of-a-kind- All four cards of any number.
8. Straight Flush- A numeric series of the same suit. The highest possible winning hand.
