Well, if they're not going to lower the drinking age, then maybe give people with a military ID the right to purchase alcohol regardless of age?
And technically underage drinking is not illegal. Only underage drinking in public. So if you drink alcohol in your own home it's not necessarily illegal. Now having a party with a lot of underage kids is, but that's a bit different... -ish. _________________

The concept of a military ID is something that I could actually see working out rather well. _________________ Touch it and Die

To be honest, I'd actually be bothered knowing that the only underage drinkers would be military men (who are, in a perfect society, supposed to be model citizens). But then again, in wartime, if you're getting fired at, you deserve a shot that you put in your body youself. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Yeah. Plus which in big cities and college towns, cops have better things to prosecute than underage drinkers. Drunk drivers is another story. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.
