The standard school of thought is 13 should be your last year trick-or-treating. You are a teenager now, effectually a "young adult" who is growing out of that habit.
My last year getting candy was 13, but I escorted my sister at 14. Funny thing is at 13, I only got like a small handful worth of candy cause we got out so late, and I ended up giving it all away to some poor kids who didn't get any at all (they were much younger and I felt kinda silly anyways). My sister had gone out earlier with the parents, so she got a better haul.
Also, I've noticed that girls tend to care less about this than guys. Most guys stop around 12-13, but I've seen girls as old as 16 doing that.

Yeah, Trick-or-Treating really shouldn't be done once you hit 12-13.
It's really kind of for kids anyway. (some people who give out candy might think you're weird)
Besides, if you really wanna dress up there's always Halloween parties and Cosplay conventions. _________________

My last year of doing that was somewhere around 15-16. I can't pass up free candy, sorry. _________________

That's the thing. It's a gender bias. Girls are all about the "cute" and so they can get away with being "kiddy" for much longer than boys. Plus I don't know anybody who would pass up the chance to see some of the costumes you girls think of . _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

I may be totally off the wall wrong on this one, but I thought Trick-Or-Treat was an American thing. Do they do that in other countries? _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

We get Trick-or-Treaters here (London, UK) - they usually come out at about 6pm, and are totally done and gone home by 8pm.
That said, however, I've never trick-or-treated at all. In my family, our Hallowe'en tradition is to turn off the lights for most of the evening and pretend we're out. Never failed yet. |

Halloween is a little too popular in my neighborhood. I stopped when I was 13. Most kids (guy or girl) go until at least 16. My sister for example (who is older just to make a point) went even when she was a senior in high school. So she still went trick-or-treating after I had stopped. Anyways, yeah I guess that things work differently near me than near anyone else _________________ Touch it and Die

Well, i'm 27. I stopped trick-or-treating long ago.
Now it's just a time to sit home and watch scary movies. I can't even eat any of the candy, and i'd have nothing good to wear. ;[ _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.

Ah, Miss... You and raini must learn that there are few things that women wear that will look bad... especially when compared to some of the creative clothing options of men.
I am wearing gym shorts and a torn t-shirt... and I've been wearing them for three days! _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Lol, wow, saving clothes ftw.
And what costume would you suggest? I could go as a box of shredded wheat. That would be pretty hot, I think.

I'm pretty sure I was around 12 or so when I stopped. I would just eat the candy meant for the trick-or-treaters after that.
One year, we had two separate candy stashes; one for the younger, one for the older. The younger kids generally got better stuff. Usually, though, we just have the one stash of candy, the older kids just get less.
I think around 13 or so is the time to stop. It's kind of annoying to see kids in their mid to late teens coming around (many of whom just go around in their casual street clothes anyway). It's something meant more for kids. _________________

Lol. Well men don't care what you go as, so long as there is ample T&A... which actually scares me a bit... I mean you basically want a hot trick-or-treater... who are always kids... isn't that a little pedo?
But no I had some fun with my friend Jacob. I made the joke that he should go as an Italian stereotype and we came up with a man wearing a Mario hat and gloves, with a mobsters jacket, carrying a pizza standing in front of a leaning tower.
For you, Miss.... Iono. Go as a sexy can of Chef Boyardee, XD! _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

No, that's alot pedo.
Sounds like my dad on an average day, lol.
And Chef Boyardee ... that would just be too much hotness for the public. _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.
