I have been told told that I over analyse way too much, but I would like to see what you guys think.

The Ghost Ship in the St. Elle's area. Am I the only one who has wondered what those characters back stories are? Why they were out at sea? Perhaps fleeing from Deathtoll? Has anyone else thought about this? |

You can't over-analyze, I don't think. Actually that's half the fun of dissecting stories and as a fanfiction author I do it all the time.

If there does exist a backstory for those two, I think Shiva Indis might know... as for me, I'm not certain. Perhaps we are meant to fill in the blanks ourselves. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Filling the the blanks is an interesting plot tool, but it usually drives me crazy 95% of the time. |

+1. It's why movies like the Blair Witch Project and Quarantine drive me up a wall. In video games, its inexcusable, unless you can, through a side-quest or diligent searching, uncover the secrets. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

That's why they supplement everything by retconning everything ever and then making up new backstory for everything!

Dirge of Cerberus. Advent Children. Before Crisis. Crisis Core. Pretty much everything in the new compilation and the newer Ultimania guides. I happen to like calling the new FF7 stuff the "Final Fantasy 7 Complication Wankfest" since that's all it is now. _________________

Yeah, it's a shame too because FF7 was such a good game and then they make the compilation which should enhance the experience and yet makes things even more confusing... And I read a plot synopsis of Before Crisis and I want them so badly to decanonize that... Frankly Dirge of Cerberus was the only halfway decent story that I could at least tolerate... and maybe Crisis Core if they hadn't so badly retconned the backstory. Advent Children, while a fun little trip, was annoying in retrospect. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Advent Children seemed a little pointless to me. I liked Crisis Core, though I have yet to beat it. The major differences I noticecd where those in the Neibleheim part of the game. |

advent children was fairly pointless, i agree. still a decent movie though.

what i liked about the additions (im not familiar with the plots of most of them) was last order. that was a fun 20 minutes _________________
