Anybody here cook? Here are a few of my broke-ass recipes for people who want quality meals but can barely afford shoes.

Jason Tandro's Classic: Ramen and Chili

Ingredients:
2 Bags of Ramen (14cents a bag in the States)
1 Can of Chili with no beans (like 89cents)

Directions:
1. Fill a pot 3/4 of the way to the top with water.
2. Set the pot on the stove and set it to High.
3. When the water is boiling add the noodle part of the ramen to the water.
4. While waiting for the ramen to cook, set a frying pan on the stove and put the chili in.
5. Set the stove on High.
6. When the chili is cooked enough and the ramen is soft enough, turn off the stove.
7. Drain the water from the pot and then mix in the seasoning package.
8. Serve the ramen on a plate and smother in chili.


Ghetto Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:
1. 2 Slices of Cheese (1 pack is like $1.50)
2. 2 Pieces of Bread (1 loaf is about $2.29)

Directions:
1. You need a toaster and microwave.
2. Toast the two slices of bread.
3. Put the two slices of cheese in between the bread (like a sandwich).
4. (Optional: Salt, Pepper and Italian Seasoning are great ways to improve the overall flavor of the sandwich. Place them on the cheese
before Step 5.)
5. Microwave sandwich for approx. 20 seconds.

I suck at cooking. I'm able to survive, but that's all. I managed to get girlfriends who loved to cook for me and I'm sure my girlfriend-sensors will sort out the ones who can't cook

Ah that reminds me of a horrible joke:

theres this noodle thing here (probably everywhere) called Mi Goreng. its really cheap, and is pure awesome. basically its fried noodles with a flavour sachet, fried onion, and 3 sauces.

prepare the noodles without anything else, in boiling water. after they soften, drain it so that theres no water left. then mix in everything. it will blow your mind the first time you have it

Hmm I might have a few things to contribute to this thread once I figure out actual recipes. I could probably make a cookbook called "101 ways to make pasta sauce".
