It is better to do this, in case an Admin decides to delete the double-posting, which is usually frowned upon, except where the post is meant to signify a secondary action, such as replacing a deleted post...

Yeah, a wannabe-troll was going around sending trillions of gems to most of the users and making their gem counts negative in some cases. Most, if not all, of those affected have now been defaulted back to 6,000 by the lovely Rainichan.
