Okay, say farewell to the current HUD system. As pretty as the little minimaps are, they aren't highly functional. The final version of TE:A will have a more basic, but much more interactive Minimap system, courtesy of the KGC Script library. As a result, this HUD won't bug out in dungeons and you'll always know the exact layout of your surroundings.

[Note: In the case of the world map, there will still be the colorful map on the upper left, and the more functional one on the upper right. Two for one!]

KGC will also be donating a not entirely necessary, but noteworthy nonetheless, 8-directional movement script.

Also... and this is more for my lols than yours... I will be using KGC's logo flash to have the Soul Schism logo appear before the game.

Sweet! Oh and as a side note, what of the ATB system?

Also, when you release it, please release it as a patch, instead of the full product. Razz

Not everyone has the game proper or the version he just released, so he'd probably have to do both.

ATB will be in TE:B, but to install it in TE:A would require a complete overhaul, since it's not designed to directly integrate into the SBS...

I could see if Tantenkai has an ATB add-on, in which case it would most likely be just the equivalent of plug-and-play.

But regarding "patches", the only way I could release a patch is to release the source files and have you manually install them in the editor project, and while some of you know what you're doing in this regard, others may end up screwing up the game and having to re-download the whole game.

I will check on that ATB system though...

Hey! I think I found something. Tantenkai (as it happens) DID make an ATB system! Let's just see if it's a plug-and-play with his SBS (and why wouldn't it be?)
