This.
Is the only Ska band I listen to, and one of the few bands my bro and sis like aswell (my bro came up with it). Que Corra La Voz is a top notch enjoyable album, and its very refreshing when I grow tired of my Metal.
My taste hasn't changed much, though Metal just "doesn't do it" like it used to. But it still "does it", in a way. Maybe I'll stir my nose into classic music soon, who knows... |

I listen to most everything, save (again) rap & country. I can abide some hip-hop, but definitely not my preference.
Mainstay genres, I guess, are alternative rock, electronic, synth pop, industrial, and symphonic metal.
Fav artists at current: Arcade Fire, Birthday Massacre, bond, Combichrist, Depeche Mode, De/Vision, Garbage, Jimmy Eat World, múm, New Order, Nightwish, NIN, Pixies, She Wants Revenge.
Hopefully that list wasn't too long. _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |

Any jazz fans here? I like Jaco Pastorius, Esbjörn Svensson, Seamus Blake and a few others. Another great jazz artist, Rasmus Faber, made an interesting album with jazzified anime music.
Oh and, do yourself a favour and listen to this. It's one of the most relaxing things I've ever heard.
As for metal, there are some good bands (like Megadeth, Motörhead, Alice in Chains and Thin Lizzy), but I can't enjoy them like I used to. Probably because of the fans. I also like (old) punk and electronica. |

i keep running into small amounts of new music whenever i seem to get bored of my current playlist. at the moment, most listened band is Edguy.
Here is my current favourite song, for people impartial to metal
@subjectnamehere: nice piece there, although it isnt exactly to my taste. the pianist seems to really connect with it though _________________
