All right people. I have a bit of a quest for you.

I have a Gunblade. Hold the fanfare- it's halfway decent, and I can't seem to find a camera to take pics of it.

Well, I need to fix some things up on it.

First, I need some sort of glue that won't damage faux leather, as the seems of the sheath is coming undone. Any suggestions?

Second: Something to attach metal to wood. There is a metal piece on the base of the handle of the Gun that the metal chain/lion head are attached to. I figured on using something with some strength, like gorilla glue... any other suggestions?

Third: A new chain. Something silver, roughly 6 to 8 inches in length. Looking for something rather nice, but still cheap. The other chain (the one thaty came with it) pretty much just fell apart.

Finally: A new Lionhead. I have one, and I can make due, but I'm kinda hoping for a nicer-looking alternative to complete the package.

Any help would be welcome.

Elmer's Wood Glue would be perfect for your two adhesive needs. Crazy Klue can damage the plastic, but Wood Glue I've found works for just about anything.

You can get small lengths of chain at any Lowe's or Home Depot... or Hot Topic.

The Lion's Head would be your biggest problem. I would say soak the chrome in alcohol for about ten minutes and then clean it until she shines again and then attach it to your new chain, or else be a smart-ass and attach the bottle cap to a Lion's Head beer to the bottom of the sword.

Hot topic isn't a bad idea...

Unfortunately, the Lionhead has a cheap gold paint on it, and I can't really soak it without potentially ruining it.

Hmm... if you wanted to get really nifty you could sand the paint down and re-paint it...
