I'll tell you what. I've seen cartridges of almost all the Quintet games on eBay, but only with Terranigma have I seen a cartridge being sold with an asking price of $1500. Yep, srsly.

The problem now though, is that with more of the cartridges being bought for collector's value as well as to play, the availability is dropping like a stone. There's still a few Terranigma carts on eBay, but most of them are the German language version.

Personally, I'm trying to find reasonably priced carts of Soul Blazer (also frequently shows up on eBay, either in US format, Japanese format, or PAL German language....so close! XD), and Robotrek (only shows up in Japanese format).

If you want a US copy of Soul Blazer I can get you one for $10 super easily. It's not very rare, I see it all the time.

Thanks Tay, but it wouldn't help me, I'm in the UK and have a Europe/PAL console. The US cartridge doesn't fit the European console, never mind being compatible to play anyway.

(like Japanese Super Famicom and European Super NES...each set of carts fit the other console, but they just won't play)

I have it in PAL format for the UK, but there's no way I'd give it up. Got it for cheap as it was and didn't have to pay shipping because the seller lived in the same city as I do.
