Save States

I'm trying to download the Elekmata save state from the terraearth website, but I get an invalid extension (.gz). Can anyone send me the .srm or direct me on how to properly download the save state if I'm doing it wrong? Thanks!

.gz is a zip format - try extracting it with your favourite unzip program.

My mistake - .gz was what I unzipped, and now I am left with the file "TERRAN~1.000" with the .000 as the extension.

if im not mistaken, the .000 is a zsnes save state extension, corresponding to the automatic quick save/load (by default save button is s, and load is l) so try putting it in your rom file directory and pressing L (keyboard L, not snes L) when its loaded up in zsnes

.000 / .001 / .002 are snes9x save state extensions, though I doubt the topic creator will ever find us in me posting this. ZSNES save state extension is .zst

It's arbitrary anyway. We no longer host Save States on our site.
