If you read my last post, you know that NJ was hit pretty badly by Hurricane Sandy aka The Frankenstorm. Today at 3PM we are going to get hit with a Noreaster- for those of you unaware, it's worse than a thunderstorm but not as bad as a Hurricane. Then I hear we have another storm coming sometime on Friday- possible a Blizzard?
On Sunday, supposedly, we had a 2.2 Earthquake in Jersey.
If you guys don't hear from me in two days, I either lost power or a Volcano erupted and killed us all. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. The Volcano didn't come thankfully, so we're okay in that aspect.
It took a week for my house to get power back, and my sisters didn't have power for just shy of two weeks. Some people in the area lost their houses. Two friends of mine lost everything. Thankfully the only thing I lost was my car- my insurance is covering that for the most part.
The Noreaster wasn't so bad. I'm personally happy that no one I know personally was killed by this bitch of a storm. Things can be replaced. People can't. It made me really appreciate the people in my life, and I think that's whats most important. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it.
