Here's another Chit-Chat for you guys. Just the place for minor convos.

I'm just got the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. It's pretty cool. Been playing that and Super Smash Bros Brawl. I had picked up a Wii with my tax return so I've been playing that.

Ah, Brawl is awesome! If we do that TE meetup, should have a game of it! I've been digging around (otherwise known as looking on the GameStop website) to get a copy of Grandia 3. When I do, I'm getting me a PS2 to play that. And Kingdom Hearts. And other fun stuff

Watched Event Horizon last night. God what an enjoyably shitty film. Ever notice how they use that typewriter text way too much? And that it kinda sounds like Illusion of Gaia?

Drove to Rhode Island yesterday after. Why would I go there? To buy a TV, of course.

(image was too big, using the ebay link instead)

NES TV

This is known as the Sharp NES TV. It actually has an NES built into the TV. The guy say he couldn't get it working, but I'm going to clean it up and try getting it to work. I paid 50 for it. Average selling price? 500-600 bucks on the regular. It's missing its matching controllers and remote, but hey, for what I paid, wasn't bad. Checked out a few places, I'm just waiting for my friend to upload the pics he took, like me in front of the TAPS building. (Yes, the TAPS from Ghost Hunters)

Interesting little state, good prices on just about everything... wouldn't mind going back again someday.

So, was up til 3 AM and got up in the morning only to find that my wife stayed up all night watching... uhhhhh... Glee. (though to be fair I have to admit it's not really as bad as I thought.) Poor thing. We went to church for Easter, but I had to take her home after only about 20 minutes because she was falling asleep.

I've personally never seen Glee and it never really interested me. I just remember there was a huge thing between them and Jonathan Coulton about something or other that I wasn't really paying attention to.

Yeaaaaaaah. The producers got permission from Sir Mix-A-Lot to perform Baby Got Back in the show... but they used Jonathan Coulton's version of the song without asking and pretty much said LOL IT'S FREE PUBLICITY FOR YOU SO SHUT UP even though they never credited him for it. :/

My sister and her family took over my 'den' for Easter vacation and I recognized I want it back so badly. I was in my room, typed this message on my outdated laptop. Not fun after all.
