You arrive at the Chimera Hideout following the instructions given to you by Psychokind. The tall metal structure which serves as a bar on the ground level has a back-entrance, which you arrive at, holding up the notes that the Captain wanted to the peephole.
Without so much as a ten second wait, the door opens and you are permitted inside, escorted by two thugs.
You are lead through a labyrinthine set of hallways in the basement until you reach the back room where you come face to face with the leader of the Chimera Clan: Chimera himself.
He is a burly, muscular man who stands about 6 feet tall, with spiked green hair and blood red eyes. A few scars line his face and two large daggers rest at his side.
"You're the brain?" Chimera says looking you over. "You've got a bit more muscle than I thought."
You ignore the comment and wait for him to get to the point.
"We need your research notes on the Dark Comet. We're working on something that could be quite useful to us. Now this could have been as simple as you having to re-write a few notes, but you made things more complicated than you needed to. You treated some of my men pretty poorly. So, here's the deal. You hand over the notes and help us gather another piece of the puzzle that we need, and we will let your lovely, um... were you calling her 'research assistant'- go home."
There is a chuckle from the nearby guards at Chimera's joke.
"We need a rare gem from the Terran Keep. It's going to power the device that we're trying to create. So if you're willing to agree to our arrangement, I'll give you the information you need."

"You got a touch delayed, I see. But you did what we paid you for. Causing mayhem and ruckus. Nicely done," Flamez said. He hands you you portion of the earning from the heist.
You earn 250 Gems
"A little bonus from what you were promised due to your exceptional performance," Flamez nods.
"Do you have any more work for me?" You ask.
"Well, possibly. Borgan's signed off on this if you choose to accept - you know he and Chimera are actually brothers. Anyways. that researcher fellow you lead to Chimera, Chimera is having him gather one of the jewels needed to complete something that he's been trying to build. But there's another jewel which can only be found in the Trapiga Islands. If you recover this gem, I can tell you that Chimera will pay handsomely for it."

Chimera nods understandingly and two of his men escort your assistant in. You were expecting her to be bound and gagged, or at the very least firmly held, but on the contrary, she is walking of her own volition and seems to be perfectly happy.
"Are you alright?"
"Oh yeah, I'm fine. You know they're surprisingly relaxed for a bandit group. I just can't leave, but other than that they're letting me use their computers to gather a bunch of information. I'm learning so much!"
"You're... learning... from them?" You ask incredulously.
"Oh yes! They have a direct line into the Metropolis Database. So much information, so fast. It's glorious!"
Chimera shrugged. "We like having access to that information. I trust that will serve as a sign of our good faith. We're not opposed to harming her if you don't cooperate, but as it stands we have no grudge against her."

Chimera's Quest: Earth Gem
Location: Terran Keep
Reward: Return of Assistant, Clearing of Debt To Chimera
"Best course of action, would be to get a ride to the Terran Keep. I mean you can hike, but it's about a day on foot with the mountain in the way. From there what you'll need to do is head into the tallest mountain there, home of the Dwarves.
"I don't know if they'll exactly cooperate with you if you flat out ask them where they store their prized gem, so try to be tactful. Some of the Dwarves view the Earth Gem as a sacred artifact, so religion is probably your way in. You're a scholar, you're good at this sort of stuff.
"Ultimately, I don't care how you get it, just get it and bring it back to me. So let's talk travel arrangements."
Travel To Terran Keep
A) Hire a caravan (75 Gems)
B) Travel on foot (1 turn wait)
C) Travel by the river (1 turn wait and possible enemy attack, but Fishmonger remains with you)

BGM
You arrive at the dock on the southern end of the desert. Several ships, all owned by the Formless Bandits, are tethered nearby. A group of sailors and even a few traders who are approved by Borgan are milling around the docks performing their usual task.
The scent of the sea is all around you and the sun's warmth is tempered by a cool ocean breeze.
"Oy there!" One of the sailors shouts.
"Hello," you reply, waiving a neutral palm.
"You looking for passage to the Trapiga Islands?" He asks. "A pretty nasty storm has been brewing up there lately, we're not sure if it'll die down anytime soon."
"How bad is it?" You ask.
"Our ships can make it through but it's rough sailing to get into port. What some of our ships have been doing is sailing around to the far side and disembarking there. It's safer on the ship, but it means hiking through the jungle for the passengers."
"Hmm, let me think about it," You say.
Safe Passage:?:
When you are ready, you can select one of the two options.
A) Sail Through The Storm (Cost: 150 Gems)
B) Sail To The Far Side (Cost: 50 Gems)
You also notice several shops along the dock, if you need to replenish your supplies.
