Recently got a Wii U Zelda bundle, which I purchased as a pre-birthday gift from me to me.
I got some eShop money to buy Donkey Kong (Love it) NES Remix 1 (Which is also awesome). Also picked up Mario Kart 8 and Ducktales Remastered.
Just happened to also be in a fye yesterday. They had buy 2 get one for a dollar, so I got a Nintendoland, Resident Evil Revelations and a few others for a really good deal. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Happened by a USB PS2 controller at the nearby Bookmans for twelve bucks earlier today. And after a few hours of working out all the kinks on some emulators, I gotta say... it's amaaazaaah.
The only issue it has is where the analog makes the character keep moving to the right on certain isos's. So on a platformer he keeps trying to leap to his doom instead of waiting to get to the other side. Sorry guy Hang in there!
But yeah, the other roms are real breezy now. The slouching's not a requirement either. |

Upgraded my TV. Went from a 40" to a 60". First TV wasn't 1080p native, but the new one is.
Much clarity. Such graphics. Wow. _________________

60 inch TVs are sweet. I convinced my brother to pick one up. He loves it.
For me, I grabbed a few Amiibos (Wii Fit Trainer (lucky grab), Little Mac, Diddy Kong, and Zelda)
...And a whole lot of Christmas gifts. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Just got From Astral to Umbral in today. It's an arranged album for the FFXIV music: piano arrangements, and Soken's band The Primals covering the primal fight music. It also came with a mp3 download (through home network) the originals of the primal songs (including Leviathan, Shiva, and Ramuh) and a secret track. The secret track is the best track. _________________

Classy-looking watch! Is it mechanical (self-winding)? Or battery powered? _________________

I've been considering getting a nice watch for myself, but that would require updating my entire wardrobe from casual programmer dude to proper gentleman. It's a massive undertaking. _________________

Naah, don't give it so much thought. It's only a watch. Most people won't even notice it as long as it's not oversized. Just go with a watch you like and inform yourself what watches NOT to buy. _________________

Hmm, the last things I bought:
A couple of nice leatherbound Barnes & Noble books (Black Beauty and A Little Princess, 'cos I love traditional children's stories)
A bunch of cheap DVDs (including all 6 Swan Princess movies xD I'm laaaame )
Memberships to Mensa, and the Triple Nine Society. Yeah, I'm also a geek. _________________
