Yeeuch. Quite true. I've heard of "medium rare chicken" being a thing.

Certainly, it's a great way to catch salmonella. I had that once by accident, not nice. (Got it once over Christmas, spent a whole week in bed alone in the house and seriously lost like 2st of bodyweight because of it. Unpleasant didn't even begin to cover that).

Anyone who says they like their chicken "medium rare" deserves everything they catch from it. xP

I had salmonella three times. Every time I blamed the fact that no one coming from the meat department when I was working checkout lanes were putting their raw chicken in any goddamn bags so when you can't go and wash your hands after handing packaged, leaking chicken juice chickens, you get gross stuff. It was the absolute worst and I don't miss that.
