It's been two years, and if I'm being honest, the thing that has stuck with me most is Skateboard Kid showing up for the final battle. _________________

I distinctly remember that as a kid I thought when your friends come to aid you in your last battle in the overworld it really felt like someone was helping me. when you go into the room where Meilin disctracts the lasers because Meihou saw everyone die in laser gunfire - man that still gives me the chills _________________

Look, Perel was very important to that final battle. _________________

My head canon when first playing the game was that a lot of time was passing; years and years, I thought Ark was just some kind of immortal watching the growth of civilzation from small towns to modern cities.
Then the skateboarding kid from colonial times skates his way past lazer beams and I was very confused. _________________

haha I hear you, I remember thinking the same. it was a bit strange that Perel handled the lazers when Ark could not - still, it felt like somebody was trying to help you but maybe didn't know how strong you were. _________________
