Unofficial Soul Blazer-like game being made by Uphill Studio

As some of you may know, Uphill Studio LLC's ( www.uphillstudio.com ) creators (Michel and Jeff) are the ones who created TerraEarth. I am Jeff (boxxleman).

Uphill Studio is finally taking off as a legitimate indie game development studio, and will be partaking in the development of an unofficial game based on the gameplay of Soul Blazer, with some slight story elements taken from the original.

Few details have been released yet, but it will include a dungeon-editor where you can build your own areas. There will also be monster lairs, blue prints (where you can design how your town will be made), and a cool dude named Blazer. The game will be in 8bit form, rather than 16 bit, and will be available via the game's website, and apps, just like Uphill Studio's other titles.

People who have played Soul Blazer will delight in the similarities the game will have to offer, while others who have never played Soul Blazer will find the concept quite refreshing. There will certainly be some Act Raiser style town building mixed in with it as well.

We have came up with the name of the title, and it will NOT be Soul Blazer 2. It will be it's own new and fresh title, because our intentions are not to create a rip-off or copy, but rather a new original series with heavy inspirations from Soul Blazer.

Once the game is developed some more, I'll post some screenshots here.

I hope this will give TerraEarth a few more reasons to visit in the upcoming years!
