Soon(TM) will be the Great Ace Attorney Been looking forward to it! Between FFXIV I've also been playing Nier Replicant, finishing up Tales of Vesperia, and I have Yakuza Collection and Assassins Creed Valhalla waiting for me. _________________

As I mentioned in another post, .hack//INFECTION, but also a couple other games. I've been bouncing between FFXIV and World of Warcraft. The former I finally got all my combat jobs up to max level (90) and almost all my crafters/gatherers to it as well. The latter? Well I'm just messing around really and prepping for the Dragonflight expansion.
Also I've been tinkering with the Sims mostly for the fun of architecture. I played the OG for the PS2 which I grew up with but quickly found myself wanting a more robust experience so I downloaded the now free-to-play Sims 4. Honestly, can't see myself sinking too many hours into actually playing it, but using it to design my dream house? Definitely viable there.
Lastly, and this is a weird one, Pokemon TCG for Gameboy Color. Specifically the virtual console version on my 3DS. Been playing my old save in which I've beaten all the gym leaders but not collected all the promo cards yet. Honestly as a dude who hasn't been able to play Magic: The Gathering with anybody lately it's scratching my TCG itch quite nicely. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

there's only one way someone plays the Sims and it is thus:
You start playing Sims for house building and watching your Sims doing dumb shit. "I'll only play for a couple of hours," you say to yourself. You start at 6pm on a Friday night.
The next time you look at the clock, you only do so because you notice it's becoming light outside. It's now 8am on Saturday morning. You've sunk 13 hours into the Sims. You didn't realize it. You do this for the rest of the weekend. Once you've filled your quota of playing the Sims, you put it down with the intention to come back to it in a couple of days. The cycle repeats 10 months from the day you originally put it down. _________________

Better than me. Creating a murder house so that the next family I moved in could have a bitchin graveyard in the back.
Also that kind of mindlessness is super fun but I can only do it in short bursts. Oddly, I prefered the Urbz for the simple reason that there was an overarching... goal I guess more than "narrative" per se. But by the time I got the penthouse in the end I was basically done. Neon East was a lot of fun though and I legit love the music from it.
I've been tinkering with Garry's Mod too lately. It's neat and some of the game modes are pretty dope. But it's just making me want to try to Half-Life 2 again. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Chrono Cross remaster, right here, right now.
After I finish with this 3 times (gotta get all the trophies... the one in the Zelbess is going to be a bitch and a half since you can't cheese it anymore) I'm gonna fire up Star Ocean 1, play through 'em all. I still need to pick up SO6 but that can come later when I'm done with 5 completely.
"But Raini how will you play SO2 it hasn't been rereleased yet"
don't worry about it. _________________

your opinion on the remaster? I wanted to buy it but didn't since the reviews said that a emulated version is better _________________

Never got around to that game so I might have to give it a try. I've just heard that it is, uh, exasperatingly long even for a JRPG. So I second PK's request for opinions.

You got the PSOne OG version or Second Evolution?
I've been passively playing throguh the OG but I got distracted around the Garden of Courage (I find the four back-to-back dungeons to be the most tiring slog of the game. I loved the pacing on Expel where you get a good balance of town and dungeon but Nede giving you flying from the start makes it hell on my brain lol. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

I've enjoyed the remaster so far! There are some things that bug me, like the FMVs not being upscaled, but it's not enough to detract from my experience. I know the PC port isn't the greatest though, so tread carefully on that, but the ps4/ps5 port is beautiful. I've played the OG version on ps1 quite a few times, and it is similar to how the FF8 and FF9 ports play with the ability to speed things up or down and auto-battle. If you had no problems with those remasters, you'll probably like the Chrono Cross one. You can make it look like the older version if you want to go true old school, too.

I have both, but I have no idea if my psp even works haha. I don't have a charge cable for it I don't think, but I do own both the ps1 and psp remaster. It's been a hot minute since I played it though, and I've been jonesing for Star Ocean games lately.
I did forget tho, that I'm playing Breath of Fire 3 off and on as well. I'm not terribly far, close to getting Ryu's first dragon gene, but it's been fun revisiting a game I loved when I was younger. _________________

hey y'all!
I'm 40 hours into Octopath Traveller on the Switch, that's "addicted" for my usual gaming. I also got a PS5 and GoW Ragnarök, but so far it just collects dust, Octopath is just too good to put down ^^ _________________

If your schedule allows it, you'll find GoW Ragnarok similarly tricky to put down from what I'm told. My roommate/friend/boss Brendan burned through it in a few nights.
Also, hello Blade!
Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default are two games that completely passed me by and I need to get to them. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Octopath is a lot of fun, I need to get back to my own playthrough.
Playing the Chrono Cross remaster off and on still, taking a small break from FFXIV as I do sometimes and I've been playing FFXI lately. Finally got to max level (99) and everything is pretty trivial at 99 lol. But last night I finished the last cutscenes for Chains of Promathia, my fave xpac from XI and I had a big cry. Waited 15 years to see the end, completely worth it. _________________

One of these days when I have unlimited time and money, I will sit down and burn through at least the main story of that game. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.
