It would be nice if people posted more frequently over here.

It used to be that each day we'd go through at least 60 posts, but nowadays, we'd be lucky to have more than a post per month.

I think thats an Internet thing in general. Forums are a relic of an earlier time, huge forums are shrunk in size, and small ones like ours, its impressive that its still even here and getting the use it does.

We get little bursts of activity from time to time.

I think in general, I blame the rise of modern social media sites like Facebook. I keep hearing about folks who disappeared off of communities to hang out on sites like Facebook and Instagram, and honestly, it sucks.

I get more of a feeling that a lot more happens in real life. facebook is dead here in germany, insta is only for younger people. tiktok has an aura of childrens from uneducated and low-income families around it. after corona every event or little town fare is crowded and brimming with people.

Yeah, but I keep hearing of members who had been hanging out on facebook, over the years. And with some of the 'pillar' members disappearing off the face of the planet, I can't help but feel like everyone have moved on. Which is kind of sad, I miss a lot of the folks who were here.

I never get the "moving on"-thing a lot of people do, like here on the forums. I mean I know most of my male friends for some 25-30 years now, and except for moving to other countries there's no moving on really. I wouldn't know how to do that. just now I chat with some old WoW-comrades from 10 years ago now that they starte season of discovery.

Same, like I remembered when we would shitpost and entertain each other here regularly, and sometimes even write fanfics about each other. I always felt that was cool, and I really hope to see something like that again here.
