Hit Lunar 2 for streamin', not quite completed before it comes out at the end of the week but that's okay (going to the Red Dragon storywise, if you know you know). For myself I started again on Star Rail, but I start and go on that one often, and for my birthday, hubs got me Atelier Yumia because I love me some Atelier games. Yumia seems to be one of the darker entries in the series (most are pretty cute and "cute girls doing cute things") along with the Dusk trilogy so I'm excited to see how it shakes out otherwise.

We got Atelier Ryza for study material a while back. We really should get back to it.

Lately we've been spending a LOT of time on Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition on Switch. Really loving the lore and world building on that one!

I picked up Clair Obscur 33, and a couple of hours in it's pretty good! reminds me a lot of chrono cross. the overworld map and some of the music, the battle system with the AP stacking all are kinda familiar.

Re-playing Twillight Princess HD on my modded Wii U. I forgot how weird this game was lol.

It has a bit of a Majora's Mask vibe, doesnt it? ^^

Yea, it's a darker game. MM was creepier though.

It's one of the Zelda games I never finished. I liked the grander, more epic scale. We often said it was "Ocarina of Time but more dark fantasy", but I only ever got as far as the Water Temple.

Majora's Mask I finished like... once? It has a hold on me, and every horror-loving millenial, but it's far from my favorite Zelda title. Think that honor still goes to my OG beloved Link to the Past just for nostalgia sake.

= = =

Oh, uh, finished Syberia 3. It was actually really good. Gonna buy World Before next paycheck. I just got back from Glasgow so I've been chilling with light games but looking to pick up FFX again here in a bit and honestly... Kingdom Hearts has been calling out to me, particularly the first one.

A Link to the Past is still my favorite Zelda game to this day.

Finally finished Lunar 2; I'd played it before but got stuck because my younger self was actually stupid lol. But I got through the epilogue and everything, it was really cute. Starting up Vanguard Bandits tomorrow on stream, I'm completely blind to that one.

Non-streaming is still Atelier Yumia, slowly plugging away at that one. Open world unfortunately for me means "I need to see everything on the map asap" lol.

@MPB: Impeccable taste as always! It's such a classic. It's the most aggressively super nintendo game of its day. The bright colors and pleasant (usually... sans that heart beepy nonsense) are just evergreen. It's also by far the most satisfying rupee collecting has ever been. That little "chink chink" cash register sound.

Interesting symmetry to those two. iirc, Vanguard Bandits actually had a Lunar 2 demo disc with it and when you got the Complete collector's edition there was a spot in the soundtrack CD for you to place it.

Also I think I mentioned this before but I got up the final boss on two separate runs but he kept stomping my ass lol.
