sp they used the new artwork by kamui fujiwara and credited him explicitly in the end as well as nintendo and square. unfortunately I don't have facebook anymore, I'd love to check the Terranigma group since some of them were in contact with the superfans in Japan that were in contact with maui fujiwara. I really hope we get more insight on how they got the rights and all later on.

I even thought about going to gamescom since they have a booth there, it's only a 3 hour drive...

Apparently, Square Enix reached out to him last year to confirm his composition. So, they had some hand in this.

just some hours after I posted the mainstream gaming news in germany reported on it with citations! the publisher even said that there will be a physical release - and screw what I said in the other thread, of course I'll buy this one

I still hope we'll get some interview on how they achieved this. where the rights there for grabs all along and all the talk about the missing rights holder where just speculation?
