Sequence Breaking is the act of progressing through a video game irregularly; for instance, going to Dungeon 5 before Dungeon 3. Zelda 1 was famous for the ability to be played in any order, and Sequence Breaking is one of the main draws of the Metroid series.
I like Dimitri the Dodongo best He actually let's you get to certain areas earlier in both games, as well as just being more all-around useful. _________________
