Not... really...

That was a big part of the marketing for them. The song on the commercial used to have the line "when you eat your smarties, do you eat the red ones last?"

That's always been their main selling point, for some reason.

Dunno. But once, I tried eating the red ones first (you know, because I'm a rebel at heart, and all that).... and I found a quarter on the ground. So I'm starting to think they may be misleading us.

They've got smarties with peanuts too. They're exactly like M&M's, except brighter colours.

Smarties = ratings. Smarties are more colourful, therefore they brighten your day with their very brightness.
