Yeah that's quite true ... I still lack a reason for buying either 360,PS3 or Wii too. Wish I had a LCD/TFT TV or monitor too, but those are so damn expensive and most of them lack several feature one like me must have while others offer them but aren't worth even thinking about buying them ... it's sorta a mess >.<.
I purchased some SNES games for my collection ... it's ~200 bucks less this month, but those classics are more than worth it (and few were bargains compared to their worth today, so they don't burn a big hole in my pocket anyway) xD. _________________ AtW Studios

some xD
um ...
Mystic Quest Legend
Secret of Mana
Secret of Evermore
Terranigma
Lufia
Illusion of Time
Zelda
Harvest Moon
Sim City
Donkey Kong Country 1-3
all together with the manuals and mostly even with the original package and in a good overall condition. I'm not one of those collectors that frame em and hang em up on a wall like dem pictures. I keep em, use em and make em survive all the upcoming "nextgen" ages . _________________ AtW Studios

Reminds me...me and my bro still have some original SNES games at home, inkl. original manual and package. They're all PAL versions, so, if anyone is interested in buying them...
I think we still have:
Super Mario Allstars (without Super Mario World)
Yoshis Island
Donkey Kong Country 3
(maybe some more)
Dunno if they still work properly, I can't check because we sold our SNES YEARS ago... |

Not lucky ... wish I bought em 2 years ago when the prices were still "normal" ... today for example a factory sealed copy of Zelda doesn't sell below 250$ ... a factory sealed Secret of Mana JAP PAL even for ~500$ ^^. The prices are climbing with each module, package or manual lost or destroyed (or seals broken). Friend of mine made 'round 20.000 bucks buy selling his old "still sealed" collection of NES and SNES (EU PAL, NTSC and JAP PAL) games xD ... that's mad but hey he's damn rich now lol.
I sometimes get evil-minded and think to myself "hey if those guys sell their houses for those games, why dun I reproduce them myself, seal em up and become a millionare?" But unlicky me doesn't know a firm capable of doing that xD

Send me a complete list via email together with some pics of the games and I'll tell you if and which I want . Allstars for example sounds nice ^^. Are they EU PAL?
Bought myself a Stereo 2 Cinch Adapter today. THis thing together with my WinTV HVR1100 finally allows me to play SNES without a television xD (and besides to watch TV, record films ).
Currently I'm thinking about purchasing a >17'' HDfull TFT Monitor to finally turn my PC into the ultimate Multimedia Center . Though the prices are still far too high lol so it might take me some years xD. _________________ AtW Studios

That and you can get in serious legal trouble doing that. XD |
