Not sure if anyone here has heard, or if anyone here is an FMA fan, but Funimation just acquired the rights to air the NEW SERIES OF FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST! They'll be posting English subtitled episodes on their website each Thursday, with the second episode airing today. Hopefully the English dubs will be available on DVD later this year.

Doubtful that [adult swim] will be able to air it, however...

Click my sig to see the first two episodes!

Well they debut each (Friday ?) in Japan, but Funimation doesn't post the translations until the following Thursday. There are fansubs available earlier, but the official ones transmit in HD, so I like to be patient Cool

There redoing everything, from start to finish, following the story of the manga (the original anime went off and did its own thing half way through) It looks like there rushing the older material to get to the new stuff (episode 3 was only 1 episode where the equivalent story arc was 2 episodes in the original).

Once it gets through the first 15 or so episodes expect to see some very new stuff Very Happy
