If it is "The Legend of Zelda", you've guessed the name correctly. The Legend of Zelda is an awesome game and focuses on a character named Link. You can download almost all the games which require different emulators and ROMs.

Ever heard of this "crazy popular" game?

Nintendo series? About 20 years old? Multiple entries? Triforce, and Ganon, and Link, and whatnot?

I doesn't seem like a familiar game to me.

Oh well you kids and your crazy video games these days. (I think that I should point out that I'm probably one of the youngest people on this forum at this time, just so that the joke works the way that its supposed to.)

Every gamer from the Super Nintendo or N64 generation has heard of it, since its about a popular and famous as Super Mario, which equals VERY popular.
Good games, especially the SNES and N64 ones.

I suppose you just discovered then, and tbh., I quite envy you, since I'd like to play these games again "for the first time", but that won't work -.-

i find it hard to believe that its even possible to exist on the internet, more specifically a forum dominated by snes gamers, and never have heard of zelda

It does exist...you just need Snes9x, the ROM (game), and you're ready to play.
