I'm a big fan of game soundtracks, and Terranigma has been my favourite game since I played it for the first time many years ago. Great game with awesome music.

As a tribute, I decided to create my own remix of the Light Side Field (Overworld) theme, using string orchestra sounds. You can check it out in HD quality on YouTube. Just search for "Terranigma OST - Light Side Field (Overworld)" by "BornaMatosic".

that sounds pretty nice. intro sounds a bit unusual but when another track comes in (around 10s) it sounds awesome

Thanks, I'm glad you guys like it! This was my first ever attempt at an orchestral arrangement.

The whole Terranigma soundtrack is so full of awesomeness. It's a pity that the composers didn't continue on to score lots of other games. I can only imagine what they could have achieved if given the sound possibilities of today's modern games!

Here in Germany there is an annual series of video game concerts where we get to hear lots of classic soundtracks played by a real orchestra. We've heard Secret of Mana (that one was stellar), Kingdom Hearts, Chrono Trigger, a Nintendo mix (mostly Zelda) and Final Fantasy. Sadly Terranigma seems to be pretty underrated and overlooked, so chances are slim that they're ever going to play anything off of it.

So, at the very least for my own listening pleasure, I'll have to do a few more arrangements of my favourite Terranigma tunes

awesome. there isnt much like that here in australia - ive only heard of one thing, and it was in a different state. and exclusively final fantasy, not "Video Games Live" like they have in other places.

Yeah, you probably heard of the "Distant Worlds" Show that took place a few days ago in Sydney! Seems to be a cool show, too. I'm going to see their performance in Poland next month. But what wouldn't I give for a Terranigma concert

You're my hero the Underworld theme is one of my all-time favourite themes from Terranigma, so this is a pleasant surprise.
