I still don't buy it. I'll grant micro-evolution. I do believe that we evolved from lower forms of primates, by macro-evolution is like saying a car will evolve into a house. Even if I could come to terms with macro-evolution it wouldn't disprove God by any means. Science can answer the "How" but not the "Why" and despite what some PETA people may think Humans are the dominant species on the planet and we are the most important thing on this planet. This planet was created for us.

I don't see any reason why these two things are incompatible, as long as you're not a Biblical literalist. _________________ "What is man? A miserable little pile of secrets." - Andre Malraux |

There's a problem with that analogy. A car isn't capable of reproducing, which is where changes tend to take effect. There are no future generations of cars for changes to naturally take place. The car will be a car, will be a car until it decomposes.
There is no qualitative difference between micro and macro. The only differing factor is time. Micro and Macro-evolution are terms that were coined so people could admit to evolution without actually admitting to evolution.

But this is very much true. God is inherently unknowable, and thus, can't be proven or disproven. People tend to forget that far too often.
Anyway, I think we talked this one to death in the debate forum, so I'll stop myself here. _________________

Just for clarification, I usually don't believe what's been put on wikipedia. If I need definite dates on a person's death or some vague history of life or something sure, but I don't take everything and believe it all.
And, like what Freedan said, I pretty much talked this one to death in the debate forum, so I'm not going to further say anything here. _________________
