Really? I'm sure I remember somebody mentioning a while back how Zuruh had something like 70k gems, when the Gems option was added to the Memberlist sorting options (and maybe even before).

It wasn't just the Matrix thing, but also a glitch in the GEM system. Kind of like "Bank Error In Your Favor". It affected several members, but he was the only active one that it affected.

But seriously, noooo, you misunderstood me - I meant a REAL bank error in my favour, from my actual bank. I could relaly do with one too, I have little in savings and zero income....

It wasn't an exploit, and he's had that amount of gems for a while now. Tay and YETI are right though, he posted up the transcripts of the Matrix trilogy and it netted him a huge amount of gems. The system, as I understand it, gives you a set amount of gems that raises/lowers depending on the quality of the post, the length, and words used. I think you get docked for swearing, but other words count for a higher gem count in your post. eFlare's the one who made the system, but I think that's how he explained it.

If I remember correctly, some poster had posted five or six times or so, maybe ten, and had 68,000,000 GEMs. I made a callout on this, as I thought it ludacris. Of course, eFlare fixed it, especially since said poster stopped coming 'round these parts.
