The nighthawk vampire (2/3 deathtouch, lifelink, flying for 3 mana) and the new leatherback (green 4/5 for 3 green) are a bit over the top compared to all older normal creatures. Also the insect that grows +4/+4 each turn if you have 4 lands for 1 green are the only ones I actually dotn like. Since they impact casual play to much.

Although the only new card in zendikar that has a small impact on legacy is Iona (the OP angel) for elvish pipers and reanimate decks.

guess its a small powercreep for creatures. It all depends on next block if they take it too far.

a fun common card called daily regiment. or something like that. basically, its an enchantment, tap it and pay something like 1 plains to add a +1/+1 counter to enchanted creature. every friggin turn.
