How come? What exactly is the problem? I've got it working with a double layer disc. Surprised

Brawls starts, but only 'till the beginning of the intro (exact point of crash varies)

Have you tried setting the Wii's video mode to 50 Hz (if it's on something else)? I think I read something about people having trouble with 60 Hz - might be worth a shot.

The only issues I had were flickering in the menus (problem solved itself for some reason), strong lags in the cutscenes (solved itself as well), slow motion battles (also solved itself) and game freezes when using water-related attacks (didn't solve itself Sad). I can live with the latter, though, until there's a fixed/PAL version to get. The game's definitely worth it. Very Happy

The Wii is fucking awesome! Only topped by my brother who had the skillz to mod it. We're playing:
Twilight Princess for 0,- €
Mario Party for 0,- €
Worms for ,- €
Metal Slug Anthology for 0,- €
(soon)Smash Bros. Brawl for 0 ,- €

All in all, we spent about 350 € for the (second hand ebay) Wii (2 remotes, 2 nunchucks (?), 1 classic controller) and the mod stuff.

*happy mode on*

Depending on where you get your stuff, you're relatively safe - I've stopped using German/public/well known trackers quite a while ago, and when it comes to Wii ISO's, EspalWii is your friend. Smile

Alright guys! My bro & sis bought me 2000 Wii-points for my birthday...and there are WAY too many games on the VC to decide whom to pic...

So, I want you to suggest me some games, maybe some I haven't played yet, maybe some I should get, etc.

I'm thinking of 1 SNES game (800 - 900 points) and 2 NES games (500-600 points).
But also, 2 SNES games (like, THE uber-super games) are also considerable.
Maybe 1 game with a multiplayer part (= more fun).

So...lets hear your suggestions!
