Let me drop some knowledge on all you TE-ers out there; listen to your intuition. If I had, prehaps I wouldn't be in pain right now.

Sunday night I had a few friends over. Someone pulled an air-soft gun (Now before you freak, lemme explain aif-soft; it's usually a plastic handgun, spring-based, that fires these small, green BB's). Everyone who lives here owns one, myself included. A few were taken out, and people were shooting at one another.

They took to our staircase, two people on the bottom floor and one up stairs, firing these single shot guns at one another. I grabbed a white towel, and began to wave it, so I could climb the stairs and not get shot.

I get to my room, and I'm bored, so I decide to descend the steps. I forget the towel, and as soon as I get to the top of the stairs, I get shot, once...




...In the eye. I dropped to the ground in mortal agony. Sadly, my screams of pain go largely unnoticed, as everyone, save for my one cousin who actually shot me, runs up the stairs.

I popped a blood vessel in my eye. I have to take a trip to the hospital today to get it checked out. I personally hope everything is all right, my vision is all blurry... like wearing a weak pair of beer goggles.

What does this have to do with intuition, you may be asking? Just before I left my room, my mind said one thing- put on a pair of sunglasses so you don't get shot in the eye. Of course I didn't listen. So be safe, and sightly!

I went to the hospital, and this morning I was to see a specialist. However, I cannot afford such a thing, as I don't have medical insurance. Should my vision not clear up, I'm going Monday, irreguardless, but I got these drops, and the doctors tell me their steriods.

My eye is a little on the angry side....

It's better, but still kind of blury. I didn't bother to go to the specialist because it seemed to be getting better and better, but now I see this randon white flash out of the corner of my right eye, and it's freakin me out...

you should go to the specialist. you can fuck your eyes in so many different ways without realizing it, and we humans don't have a reputation when it comes to the self-healing process of our eyes...

Last night, people where throwing candy all about, those mini boxes of Mike and Ikes and Hot Tamales- someone threw one at me and caught me between the eyes. I flipped out, and was on the verge of punching someone. An inch either way, I woulda gotten hit in the eye. Also, getting stuck between the eyes can blind you, so I guess I got off lucky.
