The day I got an I.V. needle

Ok, my teeth started to hurt whenever I was chewing something, so I decided that I go to the dentist. I went there, and I told them that I would rather be put into a deep sleep, so that I didn't feel anything.

So they put the needle through my vein in my hand, and after a while I had an unusual experience: I started to see things weirdly. It wasn't too long, and then it put me to sleep which was while the doctors started working on my teeth.

After I woke up, it was all done and as I got up to walk, I felt dizzy like I wasn't going the right way completely. So, I decided I'd rest for a while and after a while, I wasn't dizzy anymore.

Quite an unusual experience, if you ask me. Believe me, it isn't that fun.

I got my first I.V. needle when I was @ the dentist about the age of 8 for pulling out 5 teeth. So he jabbed the needle in my gingiva and started to extract the first tooth. Too bad he anaesthetized wrong (or not enough) and it hurted so bad I wanted to scream. But since my little tooth was still half in there, I endured until he was finished because I thought he would be scared and something bad would happen^^

We left the dentist and went to another one, told everybody in town what he did, and since my mom is into the local government and the dentist screw up other people's mouth from now and then, he left town a year later

When I got my wisdom teeth out last year. :/ I don't like the dentist/oral surgeon at all, and I knew they'd knock me out for taking out my teeth, but damned if it didn't hurt and freak me out. The surgeon told me the ceiling would look funny after he turned on the I.V drip, and he was right. I told him that, and then I woke up.

I think I'm about due for wisdom teeth out... keep getting blood in my mouth *scary*. Needles don't really worry me but I can't say I like the thought of going out cold.
