I wanted to know what kind of authors that everyone likes here espeically fantasy or supernatural ones. My favorite author is Laurell K. Hamilton who is quickly becoming a very popular unique story that many others are beginning to copy. She is the J K Rowling of her genre. She has two series on the go, both based on characters. The one I love is the Anita Blake series which is so unique and amazing. I cant even describe it in the manner it deserves. It has werecreatures of every sort, grisly murders she has to solve, sexy vampires and zombies that make resident evil a joke. ^_^ lol.

i used to read stephen king a lot when i was like 12-14 or something but switched to a german author who writes books about the "truth" out there (like 9/11, the banking system and a lot of other weird stuff)... right now im more into authors i dont really know, i just buy the books if the summary says I AM INTERESTING XD (probably because i'd want other people to act the same when they see MY book in the shelves... if i ever come around to publish it >_>)

A. A. Milne. I love how satirical he is, not to mention the fact that Winnie-the-Pooh is my favorite book. Absolute genius. I recently picked up The Sunny Side, which is a collection of short stories and essays he wrote while working for a local humor magazine. It was quite enjoyable.

I've been reading through Stephen King's library. I've read probably fifteen of his books thus far, and I'm half way through his third Dark Tower novel. I love how he references several of his other books, making one cohesive "universe," if you will.

Oh man. This will be EPIC.

J.R.R Tolkien, Haruki Murakami, Meredith Ann Pierce, Anne McCaffrey, Marjorie B. Kellogg, Diana Wynne Jones, Yann Martel

Those are a few I can think of off the top of my head. I'll figure out more, I'm sure. Save for Murakami and Martel, they're all fantasy authors, but I'm a big fantasy geek, so... XD
