Thunderhead a poem

I randonly decidied to write a poem last week and gamiechan thinks its awesome so I decided to see if you think so too.

thunder clouds from up on high
darken and thicken, greying with time
heart is beating pounding strong
anxiously waiting but not for long

yearning tear drops touch the ground
traceless driplets pummeling down
whispering winds playfully cry
searching the land where all creatures lie

murky shadows smothering light
removing the traces enter the night
punishing winds torential rain
soaking the earth natures domain

roars and rumbles permeate the sky
warning to all no one can deny
flickers of light flashes of sound
swelling and pulsing all and around

proudly clamoring blazing bright
skeleton fingers scraping delight
thrashing the rocks the earth and the trees
cacophonous might as only it decrees

softening silently whisping away
delicate breezes splashing spray
dawns palette of pastels hues
glimpses of colours together infuse

dewdrops of rainfall breaths of wind
blankets of cotton and a suns grin
daring the storm to come once more
refreshing the earth in and endless war

Yays somebody likes me for my poetry, this is my favorite poem I have written thus far ^_^. Its the first time i've tried to use funky wording inspired by gamiechans writing style, i love his word imagery.
