I've played CT (and beaten it. Numerous times in fact) and FF6. But TN is still my all-time favourite SNES rpg. Very Happy

Terranigma has awesome replay value. I could play it again and again, whereas CT and FF6 and anything else I hated playing over again because I knew what was going to happen next.

Granted, it was the same with Terranigma, but it was a different feel...Maybe it's just the way the game is so awesomely done...

Oh yeah, and the Music Smile

Very Happy Why do you think I've played Terranigma at least 5 times? I have all 3 saves taken on my computer, a save on my bf's computer, and on his laptop?

Don't forget the fact that I own the game, so once I get the means to play it on my SNES, all 3 saves will be taken up by me. Razz

I think CT is better, but maybe that's because I played a lot when I was younger and it holds more appeal to me as a classic...

Even though I hated what they did in CC

What did they do in CC? I thought it was a good game, for what I played.

the overall changes from CT to CC, too many charecters, didn't like the magic system, not enough techs, story didn't really coincide with ct either, and i would have liked if they kept the time traveling system... but the dimensions traveling wasn't too bad, and I wanted to go to the main countinent(damn tide!)

Seriously... what was wrong with CC? A lot of games now have a lot of characters to use, all with their own strengths (the Suikoden games come to mind, 106 characters to get in all!). Each had their own story, so it's not like they didn't flesh them out. Smile

I didn't think anything was wrong with the system of fighting... it made the game a little more challenging to me. Having to wait to use any kind of magic at all with my stamina wore out gets me frustrated, and makes it harder (not like Star Ocean 3 hard, where if you run out of HP/MP you DIE).

And I don't understand the tech thing.. but that's cause my brain is on auto-pilot. Very Happy

And the story did coincide with CT... at the very end you find the Time Devourer (aka Lavos), and he has Kid. When you get the generic ending, you find out that Kid is the good part of Schala. Very Happy So they kept the original in mind.

Anyways... yeah. >>;

I gotta say that I thrughly enjoyed Suikoden 1 and 2, a little let down about 3 and 4 though.

i felt that CC could of had more combo. techs too.

I dunno... I think that would have taken away some enjoyment for me. In CT, that made a lot of boss fights a lot easier. I liked that it was a harder game than CT was.

The battle system was kinda fun. I liked doing combo's by hand...It's still no Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within though Cool

I would like Terranigma a lot more if each spear has a unique feature(other than the color).
