I was listening to the radio this morning, and heard a rather tragic thing. Deceased comedian, Richard Pryor, many years ago had attempted to commit suicide- by setting himself on fire. He had apparently walked the streets, either on fire or smoldering, and when someone told him to stop walking, he said "If I do I might die."
The funny thing I heard was this, a clip from a George Carlin sketch.
"I got Richard beat two heart attacks to one right now, but he's got me beat for setting himself on fire, 1 to zero. When I heard about him setting himself on fire, I said, 'f@ck that, time for another heart attack.'" _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. It's also a completely different way of living when you know that...a different species of person." - Lana Del Rey

ha, this reminds me to that song i was listening today in the bus... its from the dresden dolls and theres a part which goes like
"so silently i sat and turned the pages
recalculating our respective ages
over my shoulder, he muttered, 'if i get any older
you can hack my wrists off with your choice of objects
no, im kidding'
don't be scared
im a friendly man
i joke about death because its funny when you're frightened"
