Arks uses a spear and I sort of have an affinity for spears (i think that's the right word.) Point is i likey spears.


So yeah, I voted for Ark.

It's a tough call between Freedan and Shadow; Shadow is stronger, but Freedan's got the distance.

Shadow gets the Phoenix, but he's damn near useless without it. Freedan spends the majority of the game with a Dark Friar. The fact that it can be upgraded to sweep around the screen only gives him more of an advantage.

Yes, Shadow can melt in to the ground (rendering himself invulnerable), but he can't attack either, and he's vulnerable (briefly) when he reappears.

So if they were trading blows toe-to-toe, Shadow would win on power alone. But in a full-fledged fight, Freedan gets the nod.

Not shure, but I guess Will will be the first to die...Freedan will prolly own them all big time, but Ark might cast an Atomic ring or some kind of other magic things...!

Ark will pzwn the rest because he's so fast - especially that unstoppable dash attack.

The Level 50 Ark can't be defeated. (but maybe Meilin can confuse him )

I went with Shadow, who, story-wise, is supposed to be the strongest, imho. Being able to fly through space, melt, fling phoenixes with wreckless abandon, block all minor projectiles by going supernova; it's obvious he was supposed to be something near-unstoppable (what else could fight a whole frickin' comet?).

Gameplay-wise, it's a toss-up between Ark and Freedan for me. Though Ark has a much more impressive array of moves that can combo, plus all his spells and his more fluid movement, the sheer destructiveness of Freedan's upgraded Dark Friar splitting has always seemed impressively deadly to me.

...Then Meilin projects an image of Elle to distract Ark, and WHAM! Freedan pwns him with a Dark Friar.
