Well Solid Arm of course! Although every boss has its hard points.
To me, Solid Arm, Mummy Queen, and Dark Gaia get easier once you've beaten them once. There are systematic ways of fighting them so that you don't ever even get hit. This is much harder to do with bosses like Castoth, Viper, and Sand Fanger, who's attacks seem at times to be random.
Of course, most people consider the Vampires to be the hardest, but if you utilize the Dark Friar attack, they're actually quite easy. Fighting them as Shadow is easy too, because you're so much stronger. In the Tower of Babel, refighting Mummy Queen is hardest to me. It's tough not having ranged attacks. _________________

As I consider Solid Arm to be the hardest boss in the game, there's a few other bosses that are hard as well.
Vampires
Mummy Queen (Tower of Babel)
Solid Arm
In my opinion, these bosses have to be the hardest in the game.
Also, I agree with you about the Mummy Queen in the Tower of Babel. But a good way to avoid getting hit is by using the Aura. If you use this defense, you're sure to dodge her. But there are some points in the game that even if I did try using the Aura, she'd still take away some HP.
It's weird. Sometimes you use Aura, you get hit, and sometimes you don't. That's very weird. |

Aura relly only helps against Dark Gaia. when fighting the Mummy Queen, many times she'll linger, or part of her will be touching you when you re-form. When fighting Dark Gaia, however, most of her attacks go straight down the screen, so they're easier to dodge. _________________

Solid Arm is the hardest... no doubt.
Castoth is a pain for a first boss when you first fight him but he's not that hard.
The vampires are really hard .... though Solid Arm is the hardest. Mostly because there's no basic strategy for beating him without getting hit too often.
For some reason I don't find the Mummy Queen all that tough. Her attacks are easily avoidable even though damaging her takes a long time. |

A Question to those who played both IOG and TN:
In which game are the bosses generally more difficult? |

Terranigma, because it has the witch. I find her harder than each of IoG's bosses, though TN's other bosses don't pose much of a challenge, if you're well leveled. In IoG, Solid Arm is the most difficult (unless you use that lame tactic with which you can win the battle without taking damage), and the vampires come close in my opinion, but they still aren't as tough as that witch! |

Ok, then the IOG bosses wouldnt be a challenge, I can beat Bloody Mary (the Witch) with lvl 23 (lvl 25 recommended in Walk-though) without rings.
...though there's also a lamer-tactic needed |

Level 23 is fine enough for the witch already, but I rarely ever am that far when getting to the castle. Mostly around level 18/19, and then it gets tough. |

I wish I could play Terranigma, too bad I can't. The thing I always wonder is why it was never released in the United States. |

Actually, you CAN play it. Just download Snes9x or some other emulator and download the rom.
But t.b.h., I wish I'd be in your place, I'd love to play TN "for the first time" again. |

Every time I replay Terranigma, it's ALWAYS the first time again. I always cry at the end. I always freak out when I get to Louran. I always get the chills when I get out into the Underworld map for the first time...
It's horrible, really. _________________

Yes, same here, buuut...
Everytime I replay the game
I know where to go
I know where to train
I know whats going to happen next
and even the chills are "predictable"
and on...
Playing it for the first time was...unpredictable.
I didn't realise how awesome it was until it ended. ...and I didn't cry at the end, but I was sad-as-f**k. And a bit confused |

Hahah. I don't always know where to go. I get lost pretty easily, especially later in the game. But a lot of things still surprise me, even after a couple of replays. _________________
