Sky Garden

i started this game long ago, but haven't gotten around to finishing.

im stuck in Sky Garden. i dont have Freedan yet, which my friend (who owns the PAL version on cart, and Terranigma as well) said is highly unusual and apparently should not be possible.

anyone care to help? is starting a new file advisable?

Sort of late. But I would say yes, since you're supposed to have Freedan by that point. o.O

You've never changed to Freedan? Is that even possible? You went to the Dark Space to check, right? Because you transform into Freedan inside Dark Spaces.

nope, he's not there. just the one statue. how i did that i have no idea

If you've never changed into Freedan, how did you make it out of Edward's Castle? Are you playing a cartridge or a ROM?

im playing on a rom, but i havnt cheated or anything, and this is an original rom afaik

It has to be a glitch in the ROM, because on the cartridge, it would be impossible to get that far w/o Freedan...

Just the one statue? Is the one statue an awesome looking Dark Knight? :P

To clarify, Freedan is the hot (ieo aka in everyone's opinion whether it be guy or girl who is saying the opinion) Dark Knight (lol not like Batman) who you should have used to use Dark Friar to get through the Diamond Mine (you said you're at the Sky Garden, after all). It's the only attack with a range capable of destroying a Worm in one room, which opens up a wooden fence.

i never got freedan. i do know what he is supposed to look like. and i think i found another way to kill that worm, otherwise i wouldnt be in sky garden. i think sometime down the track ill just restart my file and play it through.

Some dark spaces dont have freedan in them (the one in the main area doesnt have a freedan statue i think, theres one in the actual garden area that does from memory), and i thought you didnt have to be freedan for the battle anyway.

That's impossible, because early in Edward's Castle you need the sword of Freedan to reach a switch that you can't reach with Will's flute.

Right, that's why I said it had to be a glitched or distorted ROM.
