Great success? Or am I too late...

You all know the quiz for the last gem which only exists in the japanese version of Terranigma. Long time ago I tried to translate it here, or get the japanese letters for the questions. Unfortunately nobody could be of help (I don't want to blame anybody don't worry ).

But recently I got in contact with someone of the Terranigma-group (I am the founder tehe )in the German facebook (studivz) who told me he is able to read Japanese. So I took an hour of my time and played the game up to the point where you can get the Quintethouse and screenshoted every question, send it to him and he translated it.

Enough talking, here's the result. I hope this is sth new for you!

The first thing the quizmaster says is that the woman from the planning-agency, who frightens him, told him to ask everybody who wants to have some fun here has to answer a couple of questions. And since everybody is new in Quintet he has to do the job.

These are the questions where the answer is YES (it's a yes or no quiz):

スラップスティックにはソウルブレイドという名前� �武器が存在する - is there a weapon in Robotrek called Soul Blade?

ソウルブレイダーではヤシのみをなげてくるナテ ラというモンスターがいる - does a monster called Natera appear if you throw away the coconut in Soul Blazer?

アクトレイザー２の　プレイヤーはまほうを使える - is the player in Actraiser 2 able to use magic?

犬のターボが登場したのはソウルブレイダーから� �� - does the dog called turbo exist because of soul blazer?

クインテットにはおばけが出るらしい - is Quintet haunted?

These are the questions where the answer is NO:

ガイアげん想紀のヒロインはリーサという名前である - is there a heroine called Lisa in IoG?

アクトレイザーには薬草と言うアイテムがあるがこ� �はプレイヤーの体力回復である - are you able to restore your health in Actraiser by using herbs?

スラップスティックの主人公はトレジャー� �ンターだ - is the protagonist in robotrek a treasure-hunter?

クインテットの社員は全員独身だ - are all the Quintet-people are singe?

ガイアげん想紀の主人公の武器は弓矢である - is the weapon of the protagonist in IoG a bow?

awesome but i still can't answer the question.

I made every question a (savestate) save and do trial and error. And then i use the SRM save via the INN back to the english version.

You mean you load your savestate from the japanese into the PAL-version? I don't think that's possible

ive carried save states over between gameboy roms (it was a patch of the same game, though), i think it might be possible

These german questions appear to be different from the japanese ones.
It is logical though, as those in the japanese were about past Quintet games of which many ppl didn't know.
These ones seem easy enough, they are all from major hits of Nintendo.

Don't know much german, so the google translation of that Link-related question is ... awkward lol.

There are some strange stuff in the english script too, at the end of the Quintet-building. No quiz though, but something that seems a warp room/debug room??
